Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Acceptance of terms

By using StackSherlock's website, directory, or API, you agree to these terms. If you're using it on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf.

The service

StackSherlock provides technology-detection data about public websites via a directory and an API. Coverage is broad and refreshed continuously, but provided on a best-effort basis.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, exceed your plan's rate limits, or use the data for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that do.

Data and accuracy

We work hard to be accurate, but we don't warrant that results are complete or error-free. Detections reflect public signals at the time of analysis.

Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time; changes take effect at the next cycle unless stated otherwise.

Termination

You can stop using the service anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, StackSherlock is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
